Strike Day Sailing – Childrens Course (6 – 17 Years Old)
Overview
Teacher strike day? We’ve got you covered! Get your young sailors out of the house and onto the water for a full day of sailing and watersports fun.
What’s on
A day packed with sailing and watersports, with expert instruction and plenty of time on the water. Our older age groups will get a special focus on J80s, stepping up into keelboat sailing and learning real teamwork on board.
Who’s it for
- Ages 6-17: A full day of sailing and watersports, with J80 sailing for our older groups.
Times
- Early drop-off from 8:30am
- Camp officially begins at 9:00am
- Finishes at 5:00pm
- Late collection until 5:30pm, at no extra charge
Price
- Ages 6-17: €50 for the full day

Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your child’s place. Come rain or shine, we’ll make it a day to remember!
What to Bring
- Wear old clothes
- Footwear: Old Trainers / Wetsuit Booties / Crocs (flip flops are not suitable for the activity)
- Raincoat/waterproof jacket to wear over wetsuit
- Hat
- Swimming Togs (to be worn under wetsuit) and Towel
- Packed Lunch and water. We are a nut free sailing school, nut products must not be brought in.
- Plastic bag for the wet wetsuit if your child is planning to change
Got your own wetsuit?
If a child is bringing their own wetsuit, please note wetsuits must be long sleeved and long legged. Shortie wetsuits are not suitable for the Irish weather!
Need to borrow a wetsuit from us? They're free of charge, just collecting it on the morning!
