Lios na nOg Afterschool Sailing

This four week programme provides an enjoyable and progressive way for children to learn to sail. We start at the beginning – rig the boats, learn the ropes and then get onboard. Over the four weeks children will have lots of fun learning sail techniques, rules of the road, capsize recovery and meteorology.  Sailing also teaches them life skills including – Confidence, Communication, Creativity, Determination, Independence and Teamwork.

The course runs on Friday afternoons for 5 weeks on the following dates;

September – 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th

October – 3rd

Sailing runs from 3pm to 5.45pm

Cost for 5 sessions: €200 to include transport to and from the INSS. The bus will collect students at 2.15pm from Lios na nOg.
