Overview
This Day Skipper Shorebased Course is designed specifically for those who wish to undertake the Yachting Day Skipper Practical Course or the Intermediate Powerboat Course.
This course can be taken either classroom-based or online. Each classroom-based lesson will be streamed online and recorded – great for busy schedules and revision – so there’s no worry about missing a lesson!
Course Outcome: For participants to be able to navigate and skipper a yacht or fast powerboat by day.
Day Skipper Theory provides a comprehensive introduction to chartwork, navigation, meteorology and the basics of seamanship for Competent Crew.
