Halloween Sailing – What one parent thought!

If ever you are stuck for an action packed day or two in the winter mid term, then Halloween Camp at the INSS is the place for your child!  From Sailing to apple bobbing –  where would you get that!

There was the usual fun, warm, party atmosphere creating a buzzing hub from which to sail. New friendships or rekindling old seemed to be the order of the day – eager conversation (mostly on ‘Minecraft’ ) as they made their way…

On nicer days it was a joy to behold the little group sailing effortlessly off following the West Pier to the training area in their ‘Opi’s’ .   When the weather turned a bit iffy, wow the things they packed into a day! A tour of the harbour on a larger J80 boat – even getting to crew! climbing aboard the INSS yacht; bumping into someone’s grandfather who owned a vintage sail boat; and back to the School, for fun, music, tuck shop, and the entire highlight – a spot of apple bobbing (head to the bottom of the bucket seemed to work!)

Thank you INSS for giving us something to really talk about back at School after our break!
