What Makes our Junior Sailing Unique
A year-round progression designed to develop young sailors, building confidence, teamwork, and character while fostering lifelong friendships on the water, with the added enjoyment of occasional day-trip adventures.
Developing Skills and Independence
From first-time sailors to those with experience, each child is supported to develop new skills, confidence, and independence at a pace that suits them, all while enjoying the freedom of the water, solo sailing and having a fantastic time on every sailing session.
Making Memories Together
Sailing provides the perfect opportunity for young sailors to strengthen friendships they already have while forming new ones. Working, learning, and adventuring together on the water fosters connections, teamwork, and shared experiences that can blossom into lifelong friendships.
Confidence and Character
Sailing challenges young sailors to develop resilience, patience, and responsibility. By navigating both the water and teamwork, they learn important life skills such as problem-solving, cooperation, and self-confidence, all while having fun and achieving personal milestones.
Junior Club - Saturday Sailing
The Junior Club is a great way to keep progressing, stay in touch with friends and discover a life-long love of going afloat. Running throughout the school term sailors choose between two times of attendance, 10am-1pm or 2-5pm.
We focus on improving skills and fostering friendships during the Junior Club and new members are welcome to join in at any stage,
School Holiday Sailing
Starting soon after Summer, our Sailing Camps run for Halloween in October, February Mid-Term, Easter in April, and May Mid-Term, just in time for another fantastic Summer for the young Sailors.
Whether your child is a total beginner or building on existing skills, they’ll jump on board for an unforgettable week of fun and learning. Alongside sailing, they will get to try out exciting activities like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, all under the guidance of experienced instructors.
Racing Programmes - Advanced Skills
There’s nothing quite like watching young sailors grow in confidence as they learn to navigate the water. We’re proud to see our advanced 11-14 years sailors taking part in competative sailing.
To assist this transition, we’ve created a RS Feva Racing programme, designed to introduce racing in a positive and constructive way.
What parents think of the programme
The kids loved the camp this week and are already asking about what week they can go next year. The instructors were all great and there were so many on hand it put us at ease as parents. It’s a great week’s activity for the kids and we were delighted they enjoyed it so much again this year. Many thanks to all involved.
"I'm so impressed by the course. My son had an absolute ball on it. The instructors were absolutely fabulous, they were all such incredible ambassadors for the club. Thank you to everyone.”
