4 to 5 Years Junior Sailing Courses
4-5 Years Sea Explorers
Sea Explorers is the perfect opportunity to introduce your child to life in and around the sea. They can explore the local seafront and experience what it is like to have a trip on a pirate ship!
February Mid-Term
Sailing Courses are where young minds set sail into the world of marine discovery.
Build a lifelong love of the sea and the environment
Allow your child to become familiar with our beautiful, local sealife through our Sea Explorers programme. Children will learn about marine ecology by exploring Seapoint beach and enjoying a tour of the harbour in our pirate launches!
We prioritise learning through a safe and fun environment
What Makes the Sea Explorers Unique
Run by Muriel, an experienced primary school principal, our students spend their day undertaking a wide variety of activities in Dun Laoghaire Harbour and Seapoint Beach.
Make Friends
While exploring the sea our Sea Explorers also explore new friendships that will last a lifetime. Exploring becomes even more fun with friends whether that is with old friends or new ones made along the way.
Have New Experiences
Sea Explorers is a unique activity giving curious young minds many new experiences. Hands on learning with marine wildlife, becoming pirates by travelling in the Pirate Launches and many more adventures which will become experiences they will remember for the rest of their lives.

What parents think of the programme
“It was my daughter’s first ever summer camp experience and it was in her second language. She enjoyed it from day one and was excited every morning to go in and said on the last day that she wants to do a course at the INSS every year. thank you to the whole team for such a positive experience”
“Muriel is fantastic and the rest of the gang. We’ll be back next year.”
“Muriel is of course amazing!! She was so warm, welcoming and inclusive, she just embodies community spirit, we need more people like her in the world. And I must say I was very impressed by the younger staff, everyone went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.”
